 Ready to learn from leaders who’ve built massive followings and made a difference in San Diego? Our August RNHA  meeting brings you two powerhouse speakers who’ve turned vision into action.

First, meet our special Amy Reichert, founder of Restore San Diego. Amy knows what it takes to make your voice heard—she grew her movement from 2,000 followers to over60,000. She’ll share her best practices for building momentum, engaging your audience, and getting your message out effectively.

Then, hear from Leon Benham, a lifelong South Bay resident who haswitnessed firsthand the growing public health threat posed by theongoing Tijuana border sewage crisis with a video. In 2019, heco-founded Citizens for Coastal Conservancy (C4CC) to combat thiscross-border environmental emergency, which has contaminated ourocean waters, polluted our beaches, and endangered the health ofresidents and visitors alike. With over three decades of experiencein major construction and environmental projects—from restoring OldTown Park to developing the San Diego Bayshore Bikeway—Leon bringsdeep expertise and a sense of urgency. He will share how grassroots advocacy can help protect our coastline, safeguard our communities, and demand real solutions to this escalating public health hazard.
