It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of Charlie Kirk, a young 31-year-old conservative leader, father, husband, Christian whose voice inspired millions across our country. Charlie dedicated his life to empowering the next generation with the courage to stand for their beliefs, and his loss is deeply felt by all of us in the movement.
On behalf of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of San Diego, we extend our deepest condolences to Charlie’s family, friends, and all who were touched by his leadership. We pray for comfort, strength, and healing during this difficult time.
Let us be clear:
Republican National Hispanic Assembly of San Diego denounce all forms of political violence. Violence has no place in our democracy. It does not honor the values we hold dear, nor does it strengthen our nation. Instead, it divides us when we must be united in faith, principle, and love of country. Charlie Kirk was assassinated today at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on September 10, 2025, but his ideas, inspiration, and courage live on!

The Republican National Hispanic Assembly of San Diego is proud to endorse Frank Nunez for Vista City Council. As a lifelong Vista resident with a proven record of service, Frank embodies the values of hard work, family, and community that define Vista.
Frank’s story is Vista’s story. His grandfather came to the United States through the Bracero program in the 1950s, and his family legally migrated from Mexico in the 1960s, working local farms and building a better life. Born and raised in Vista, Frank attended local schools, graduated from Vista High, and went on to become the first in his family to earn a college degree — graduating with honors from California State University, Northridge while raising his first child and working full-time.
Professionally, Frank built his career in the agriculture industry, connecting growers to local retailers through a farm-to-fork approach that strengthens both our economy and community health. As a Director on the Vista Irrigation District Board, he has fought for safe, reliable, and affordable water for families. Beyond his career, Frank founded Future Filmmakers of America, a nonprofit that empowers young people to share their stories through film making.
Frank Nunez is not just a candidate — he’s a proud Vista native, husband of 28 years to his high school sweetheart Christina, and father of three: Isaiah, Ruby, and Elijah. With his lifelong dedication, community leadership, and clear vision, Frank is the leader Vista needs today.
The RNHA of San Diego strongly urges Vista voters to join us in supporting Frank Nunez for City Council. Together, we can ensure Vista remains safe, strong, and family-friendly for generations to come.
